Fang Cao Yuan Chinese Learning is a subsidiary of Global Angel Education Group, Hubei, China. Founded in 2008 by Shirley Tang, the Group brings over 18 years of experience in education, with 6 centres across Hubei Province and a team of 100+ educators and staff. Over the years, it has impacted 10,000+ students, evolving from a single subject enrichment programme into a comprehensive, one-stop education provider trusted by parents.
Building on its strong success in China, the Group expanded internationally, with Singapore as its first overseas market. Fang Cao Yuan Chinese Learning was established in 2021.

"Fang Cao Yuan" was inspired by the Chinese idiom ‘ ๅๆญฅไนๅ ๏ผๅฟ ๆ่ณ่’ from the Book of Sui, written by historian Wei Zheng of Sui Dynasty. The analogy depicts that there are many talents and every man is outstanding. At Fang Cao Yuan, we believe that every child has innate talents and we are here to nurtured and help them reach their full potential.
Fang Cao(่ณ่) also signifies a person’s virtuous character, and it is our hope that through our teachers’ nurturing, all the children in Fang Cao Yuan will grow up to be virtuous.

About Shirley Tang
Founder of
Angel Education Group
Shirley founded Angel Education Group in China in 2008, where she developed the organisation's core learning methodologies and established its corporate framework. She is a certified Senior Family Educator Instructor and Senior Psychological Counsellor in China.
She holds a Master's degree in Education from Bangor University, further strengthening her expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality, effective learning experiences.

Ms Xu (ๅฐ้ฑผๅฟ๐ ่ๅธ)
Ms Xu graduated from Southwest University with a Bachelor of Chinese Language and Literature. She holds a Junior High School Teacher Qualification Certificate as well as a Level 2 Chinese Language Proficiency Certificate.
She is a qualified teacher in China and has taught students of various ages for the past 14 years. She has also done research, trained teachers, and created educational resources for use by students in educational institutions.
Her teaching style is humorous yet rigorous, and her vibrant demeanor has gained her many students' affection.
Ms Lin (ๆจฑๆก๐่ๅธ)
Ms. Lin graduated from Jimei University with a Bachelor’s degree in Management. She holds a Mandarin Level II, Grade A certification, as well as an English CET-6 qualification, making her fluent in both Chinese and English.
She is deeply passionate about education and is known for her enthusiastic teaching style and strong rapport with students. Ms. Lin firmly believes that the true art of teaching goes beyond imparting knowledge — it lies in motivating, awakening, and inspiring every learner to reach their potential.
Ms Ai (ๆกๅญ๐่ๅธ)
Ms. Ai graduated from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor degree. She has 5 years of instructor experience in huge enterprises and 2 years of Chinese tutor experience.
She has strong affinity with children and good at communication. Her educational philosophy is to teach in good earnest๏ผto communicate with warmness๏ผto listen with heart๏ผto recognize and develop the potential of every child.
Ms Luo (็ๅญ่ๅธ)
Ms Luo graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) with a degree in Chinese Language and Literature and has over 18 years of teaching experience.
She has extensive expertise in PSLE curriculum development and teaching management, and is passionate about making Chinese learning both engaging and effective. She also values close collaboration with parents to support every child's growth. Her teaching philosophy is simple yet heartfelt: teach with dedication, nurture with care.
Ms Kou (่ฅฟ็๐่ๅธ)
Ms Kou holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Jinggangshan University and has over 6 years of teaching experience in Singapore. She is certified with the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Certificate and a Senior High School Teacher Qualification.
Her teaching style is rigorous yet engaging. She believes in tailoring lessons to each child’s needs, helping students build confidence, take initiative, and enjoy learning Chinese.

Ms Huang (่ๆณฅ่ๅธ)
Ms. Huang Jiayi is an experienced Chinese language educator with nine years of local teaching experience. She holds a Diploma in Interior Design from BCA Academy and a Putonghua Proficiency Test Level 2-A Certificate.
Known for her patience and dedication, Ms. Huang adapts her teaching methods to suit each student’s learning needs and pace. She believes that teaching students how to learn is more valuable than simply providing answers. Through engaging and supportive lessons, she nurtures students’ confidence, interest in Chinese, and strong language foundations for long-term success.
Ms Yu (ๆๅญ่ๅธ)
Holds a Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education from Huaqiao University and is a certified International Chinese Language Teacher. She also holds a Secondary School Chinese Teaching Qualification and has attained Level 2A in the Putonghua Proficiency Test.
She emphasises interactive learning and students’ communication skills. With an engaging, inquiry-based approach, she creates a lively classroom environment that encourages active participation.
Guided by her belief in empowering rather than simply instructing, she nurtures each child’s curiosity and confidence, helping them grow and reach their full potential.
Ms Hung (ๅทงๅ ๅ๐ซ่ๅธ)
Ms Hong graduated from National Central University in Taiwan with a master's degree.
She has been working in the education industry since 2017 and has extensive teaching experience, particularly in instructing young children. Her teaching style is lively and dynamic, and she is well-loved by the kids.
Ms. Hong’s teaching philosophy is to provide education, speak, teach and write with warmth. She hopes that every child can enjoy the learning process and feel the warmth of the world.
Ms Cheng (ๆ ๆชฌ๐่ๅธ)
Ms Cheng graduated from University Tunku Abdul Rahman with a master's degree in Psychology.
She has been working in the education industry since 2017 and has over 7 years of experience in early childhood Chinese education. Her teaching style is gentle and patient with clear logic and very approachable.
Ms Cheng's teaching philosophy: Teachers base their profession on virtue, and their hearts on love; teaching with truth, educating with genuine care.
Ms Duan (ๅฐๆพ้ผ ๐ฟ๏ธ่ๅธ)
Ms. Duan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Central China Normal University and has seven years of experience in Chinese teaching. She creates engaging lessons, helping students discover their talents and enjoy learning.
Skilled in photography, piano, painting, and skateboarding, she integrates creativity into her teaching. She believes play is a child’s nature, and as an educator, she is committed to lifelong learning, innovation, and staying current with new teaching methods.

Miss Lee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese from National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan, and has been in the education field since 2014. With ten years of local Chinese teaching experience, she is known for creating lively and engaging lessons that spark students’ interest.
Guided by the belief in personalised teaching and joyful learning, she encourages students to build confidence, develop strong foundations, and discover their full potential in Chinese.
Ms Chai (ๅธไธ๐ฎ่ๅธ)
Ms Chai holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature from SUSS and a Level 1-B Mandarin Proficiency Certification. With over ten years of teaching experience in local and international schools, including involvement in the development of Chinese teaching materials, she specialises in guiding young learners through engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
She believes that every child is unique and is dedicated to nurturing each student’s confidence and potential, creating a supportive learning environment where children grow happily and develop a strong foundation in Chinese.

With over five years of dedicated experience as a preschool Chinese teacher, she possesses a wealth of instructional expertise and specializes in creating a relaxed, lively, and engaging learning environment where children can thrive with confidence and interest.
She firmly believes in nurturing growth through love and guiding education with professionalism. Committed to fostering each child’s development through both happiness and exploration, she strives to unlock their full potential in a supportive and joyful atmosphere.

Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, with strong bilingual communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Possesses teaching experience with children aged 3 to 6, and adopts a teaching style that is patient, attentive, and nurturing. Skilled in observing each child’s unique personality and guiding them according to their interests and developmental potential.
